December 2010
This has been both a trying year and a wonderful year for us as a family. But looking back, we have been very blessed along the way.
Alex is now working for eBay and just loves it there. He loves going to work and that is a very important thing to staying happy. Alex is still the President of the Sunday School in our church. He is enjoying the free time he has with our kids and anything related to radio.
I keep myself busy with taking care of Taylor, Shayna and the housework. I love to shop and find the best deals which save us so much money. I still do my work for the Homeowners Association as the President. I handle all the finances. I was also released as the Young Women’s Secretary and am now the Stake Primary Secretary in my church and it keeps me busy with meetings and assignments, but is fun. I like to go walking and read in my spare time.
Taylor is three now and loves to play with, and pester his little sister. He is going to a Fun School, which is like preschool, that seven of my friends (moms) take turns teaching. He just loves it. Taylor is still very obsessed with trucks, tractors, fire engines and anything that goes “VVV”. He is almost done potty training, which we all are excited about.
Shayna is our little “Baby Love”. She is fifteen months old now and loves to follow Taylor around, but also loves her own time to look at books. She is always bringing us books to look at and read with her. She starting to say a few words and it is cute. She goes around saying “Hi or Hey” to everyone and always gives them her classic smile. She is no trouble, yet.
Alex's parents were able to come see us for a couple of weeks for Shayna's 1st birthday. We always have so much fun when they are able to come and we wish we could see them more often. We need to go visit them again as well.
We hope all of you are enjoying the holiday season. As always, your friendship and love mean a lot to us. Have a happy and safe year in 2011.
Love,
Alex, Sherry, Taylor & Shayna Brunt

Christmas Letter & Family Photos
December 2009
Dear Family & Friends,
Is it time for a new year already? Where has the time gone? I don’t know why the older I get, the faster time goes.
Alex finished up with Dish Network this year. Following in his Mother’s footsteps, he is working as a mortgage broker with Primerica. He says he’s going to make a whole lot of pingers (money). Alex is now the President of the Sunday School in our church. He is enjoying the free time right now at home with our kids and helps me out a lot.
We had a little girl in August this year we named Shayna. I keep myself busy with taking care of Taylor and Shayna and the housework. I love to shop and find the best deals which save us so much money. For a few months while I was pregnant I worked at CKR Engineers part-time. It was fun to get out and work again a little, but I do love to be at home with my kids. I still do my work for the Homeowners Association as the President. I handle all the finances. I am also the Young Women’s Secretary in my church and it keeps me busy with all the activities and teaching once in a while.
Taylor is a two and a half now and enjoying being a big boy and getting into everything he can. His dad calls it exploring and learning. He is such a joy and we love being parents so much. He loves being a big brother and is always so gentle with Shayna. Taylor likes to go to the park and loves trucks. He is talking a lot more and it is fun because he has conversations where we only catch a few “real” words. Taylor is also learning Russian which he enjoys mixing with is English. He got into the baby powder the other day and lightly dusted his whole room with it. Joys of parenthood, we had to laugh.
Shayna is a little doll. She is always so happy and smiling and hardly makes a fuss. She is just a joy of a baby. She loves her big brother, always smiling at him. She is rolling over already and has always been strong and determined. We love having our little boy and girl!
We hope all of you are enjoying the holiday season. We have been blessed this year and as always, your friendship and love mean a lot to us. Have a happy and safe year in 2010.
Love,
Alex, Sherry, Taylor & Shayna Brunt
